Ex-factory Standards and Installation Technical Requirements for Ball Mill Liner
2021-05-20
In all the wear-resistant parts of the ball mill, the ball mill liner is one of the main wear-resistant parts, it can protect and extend the service life of the ball mill, now we talk about the ball mill liner factory standards and installation technical requirements.
1. Count the number of ball mill liner according to the ball mill’s model, ball mill liner’s form and position. The ball mill liner plate has several specifications according to different position, respectively: the cylinder liner plate is close to the tightening wedge, the middle part of the cylinder liner plate, the ends of the cylinder are close to the end cover (close to the tightening wedge), the ends of the cylinder are close to the end cover (middle part), the outer ring of the end lining plate, the middle part of the end lining plate, and the inner ring of the end liner plate.
2. The radian of the liner plate should be the same as that of the ball mill body. The ballmill liner should be close to the inner wall of the body during installation, and 5mm asbestos liner should be used between the liner plate and the inner wall.
3. All the ball mill liners should be free of cracks and serious pits, pores, slag and other manufacturing defects.
4. Liner plate’s material is Mn13Cr2, also known as high manganese steel alloy liner plate, taking into account the wear resistance and toughness, the margin property is consistent inside and outside,HRC hardness ≥50.
5. The ball mill liner plate comprises a cylinder liner plate and end cover liner plate, in which two fixing bolts are used for each end cover liner plate. The cylinder liner plate is symmetrically fixed along the circumferent direction with four wedges of iron, two fixing bolts for each wedge iron. Each bolt is equipped with a heat-resistant rubber gasket, a gasket (with a gasket on one side of the gasket), a fastening nut and a fixing nut. Quantity should be sufficient, quality, material meet the requirements.(The quantity of each gasket and nut should be 10% and 5% higher than the actual quantity respectively.)
6. Before installing the liner bolt, check the size to meet the requirements. The liner bolt has no crack and the screw buckle is damaged, and the head is not loose in the liner hole.
7. Check whether the surface of the ball mill liner is smooth, and there should be no cracks and casting defects such as slag inclusion, sand holes, pores and shrinkage holes that affect the performance of the liner.
8. The drum wall of the ball mill is paved with a pressure resistant and heat-resistant asbestos pad of 5mm thickness. The gap between rows should be 5~10mm, the liner plate gap should be uniform and neat, the pressing wedge iron should have a tight screw margin, the liner plate screw fastening hole should be sealed with high-temperature resistant rubber ring to prevent powder leakage.
9. The fixing screws should be tightened one by one, with preventive nut loosening measures and anti-loosening nut.
10. When tightening the ball mill liner plate, the bolts should be fully implemented in the groove, and the tightening force should be moderate.
11. After installation, the ball mill liner plate shall have good contact with the ball mill body, and the continuous suspended area shall not exceed 30%. There is room for fastening bolts, and the liner plate shall not loosen when the machine body rotates.
12. No powder leakage, air leakage, liner falling off and other phenomena during operation, and no fracture of fastening bolts.
