The Working Principle of Hammer Crusher Hammer Head
2021-06-23
Hammer crusher hammer is a production equipment commonly used in mining, coal mining, chemical industry and other industrial sectors. As a working part that directly participates in the crushing process, the hammer head of the hammer crusher is an easy to wear part that consumes a lot of money. The working surface of the hammer head is in contact with the crushed material, causing high stress wear.

The crushed material obtains kinetic energy from the hammer head and is impacted by the crusher's wear-resistant liner at high speed to be crushed twice. Since the crushed materials are generally rock, metal ore and other hard objects, the wear of the parts is relatively serious. Through the analysis of the surface micro-morphology of the hammerhead, the wear process of the hammerhead is the result of the combined effects of deformation and erosion. This is due to the high-speed operation of the surface of the hammer head, and the inertia of the hammer head strikes and crushes the material. In the process of relative movement, these materials interact with the surface of the part, not only sliding, but also impacting, rolling, scouring, etc. When the hardness of the abrasive exceeds the hardness of the material, the edges and corners of the abrasive will pierce the surface of the hammerhead, causing the material to undergo plastic flow and squeeze it around the pit. The material is deformed to a certain extent, and the abrasive grains are crushed. A number of particles contact the deformed material around the pit, which deforms it, causing plastic flow, and the degree of work hardening is further increased. When the strain fatigue limit of the material is exceeded, the wear debris falls off. Analyzing the hammer head of the whole hammer crusher, it is found that only the working surface of the hammer end is severely worn, and the hammer handle is basically not worn, but only under stress.
