The jaw plate of jaw breaker is usually made of high manganese steel. In order to increase the wear resistance, Mn13Cr2 and Mn18Cr2 can be used. There are also microalloying treatment (also known as metamorphism treatment and modification treatment) of trace elements to improve the wear resistance.
